Evang. Samuel Olashina: I was not born in celestial am a
member of CAC by birth my late brother H/S/E
Folorunsho Olajumoke now late brought me into celestial church.
The
Press Club: What are the challenges you face being a
celestial?
Sup.
Evang. Samuel Olashina: My challenges in celestial goes thus,
I joined celestial since when I was a young graduate, I was confuse with the
doctrine of the church, my family was not cooperating with me, I have a bank to
direct, but because of God’s work I left the job, with this my family where
annoyed.
in celestial you have to go under tutorial, my best
experience was that my calling was different in celestial when you are a Shepherd,
you build your church and stay there, but to me, God told me to go round
celestial, I have been to almost all the 36 state in Nigeria and to different
country such as Ghana, Togo, Nigeria, Benin Republic. I am from Akoko in Ondo
state.
The
Press Club: which advice can you give to the People
willing to be or just join Celestial Church Of Christ?
Sup. Evang. Samuel Olashina:
My advice for new convert is to be calm, the new comer
should take time to study the rules and regulation of the church and obey it.
My advice for you spiritually is to humble yourself
life i.e. ‘when talking to an elder you kneel when you humble yourself’ you
will allow God to enter into you as a youth and you should obey and respect
your elder, when you are confuse about the church you meet elders and they
guide you. Celestial church is a plain church; some think we are cultist and
fetish and all sought of thought.
