Naira steadies against dollar on parallel market

The Nigerian currency on Tuesday, April 12, maintained its strong form against the American dollar on the parallel market.

According to NAIJ.com findings, the naira, which traded for about N319/N320 on Monday, April 11, retained its strength against the dollar, standing at N320/dollar on Tuesday morning, April 12.
Our impeccable source at the bureau de change informed that the naira has remained strong and will remain that way throughout this week.

“Even if it refuses to appreciate against the dollar, the naira is not likely to drop this week, especially based on the things we have seen this week.
“The exchange rate for other currencies has also improved drastically as you would have seen already. This is a clear indication that things will get better this week,” he informed.
